Campground Policies
General Policies:
CHECK OUT TIME: Noon unless space is available for late departures and management is aware of situation.
QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. One of our goals at the Abilene RV Park is to help maintain a friendly, peaceful atmosphere. Please be courteous with noises, especially between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
RATES: Payment is entirely for services rendered under a HOST/GUEST arrangement. Rates are for 1 to 2 adults and 2 children, 12 years and under, An additional charge of $1.00 per night per person over 12 years will be charged. Daily/Weekly price includes electricity, water, sewer and Wireless Internet (WIFI).
CAMPSITES: Please keep sites clean, neat and tidy. Clotheslines, outside storage, underneath RV storage, repair on RV or vehicle is not permitted except in an emergency. Grills on stands are allowed for cooking. All trash must be placed in dumpsters not in campsite!
CONNECTION HOSES: Water hoses must be replaced if leaking. Septic hose must have a plastic connector to attach to our septic hookup. Water hoses must be insulated. Park is not responsible for damaged hoses.
TYPES OF RVs: RV must be less than 15 years old to be on the park. If an RV is a few years older than 15 years, looks really good and is in good shape, an exception may be given. Exceptions will be made at the decision of the Manager. A window A/C on the RV is not allowed. The Park reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
ALCOHOL & SMOKING: No smoking or alcohol within 20 ft. of all buildings OR Pool area on the Park. Any public display of alcoholic beverages is not allowed at any time on the campground. Alcohol must be handled in a discrete manner at campsites.
VEHICLES: “DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH OR PARK IN EMPTY CAMPSITES!” 5 mph speed limit. Two licensed and registered vehicles are allowed per site. Repairs, oil and radiator draining are not permitted at any time. Vehicle washing is not permitted. Motor-driven cycles are to be driven quietly and ONLY to enter and exit the Park. Roads must be kept open.
PET RESTRICTIONS: Aggressive breeds are not allowed at any time! (i.e. Pit Bull, Doberman, Rottweiller, Bulldog, German Shepherd OR any aggressive dogs or animals). Park reserves the right to make final decisions for any animal. Rodent or reptile pets are not allowed--NO EXCEPTIONS! Pets must be on a 6 ft. max. leash. When outside on Park, owner must be present with pet on leash at all times. Droppings must be picked up immediately. Pets are not allowed in buildings or Pool area. Violators will be asked to leave immediately--without a refund. Immediate eviction will follow any animal bite or attack. All required shots must be current.
CHILDREN: Must be accompanied on Park by an adult. Parents are responsible for all damages caused by their children. In Pool area, children under 14 years must be supervised by an adult.
PERSONAL CONDUCT: Any type of public disturbance will not be tolerated. Disorderly, ill-mannered conduct, drunkenness will not be tolerated. A public domestic disturbance will immediately terminate the Service Agreement of the campsite which must then be vacated immediately. If the Sheriff has to be called for any disturbance, the campsite must be vacated immediately--NO REFUND. All occupants and guests must comply with all federal, state & local laws and park rules.
PROHIBITED: Use of firearms is not permitted on park. Fireworks or campfires are not permitted.
REFUNDS: No refunds are available for early departures or undesirable weather conditions.
Monthly Policies:
AGE LIMIT: Minimum age to move in is 21 years .
DUE DATE: The 1st month’s payment plus Electric Deposit of $100 will be paid in advance of move-in. Deposit is refundable when you leave or will be applied to your final electric bill. Payment is due on the same day as your move-in date each month, on or before the due date. If your due date falls on Sunday or a holiday when the office is closed, you will not be counted late on the day following when the office opens. You may also drop it in the Night Drop and get a receipt the next day. A “Site Service Agreement” must be completed and signed at time of move-in.
ELECTRICITY: Monthly does not include electricity. Meter will be read the day you move in your campsite. Payment will be due on the 1st day of the following month. The rate is .15 per kwh.
LATE FEES: Beginning the day after your due date, a late fee of $5.00 per day will be added and will continue until your rent is paid in full. If rent is not paid in full within 3 days of your “due date,” you will receive a Notice of Termination and the campsite must be vacated immediately. A Notice of Eviction with the Callahan County authorities may be filed by the Abilene RV Park. Returned checks will be sent to VeriCheck for collection by our bank and will be charged a fee by VeriCheck.
REFUNDS: If you leave during the month, the rate changes to the current daily rate of $39.00 per night.
Waiver of Liability: Customer shall not hold Campground, Owners, Manager or any Agent of the Owners or Manager, or any Employees of the Abilene RV Park liable for any or all claims, demands, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from any and all damages or injuries caused by fire, water, wind, civil strive, accidents, theft, or acts of God. Physical damage and liability coverage is the full responsibility of owner/renter of the RV. Rental space remains under the control of the campground Manager. Services are provided under a Site Service Agreement. You are not under a landlord/tenant arrangement--Theft of Services applies.
